Join the Golden Gate Railroad Museum and help us preserve the San Francisco Bay Area's railroading heritage. Members and "Friends" of the GGRM receive the monthly Dispatcher's Sheet newsletter, advance information on upcoming excursions and events, and access to the monthly general meetings.
The following types of memberships are available:
Friends of the GGRM receive the Dispatcher's Sheet newsletter. They have no voting rights and are not able to volunteer for the organization.
Individual members of the GGRM receive the Dispatcher's Sheet newsletter, can participate in restoration efforts, work on train crews, or help the organization in any volunteer capacity. Individual members are allowed one vote in GGRM elections.
Family memberships allow two individuals at a single address to share in the rights and responsiblities of GGRM membership. Family members receive one Dispatcher's Sheet newsletter, can participate in restoration efforts, work on train crews, or help the organization in any volunteer capacity. Family members are allowed two votes in GGRM elections.
Sustaining members of the GGRM receive the Dispatcher's Sheet newsletter, can participate in restoration efforts, work on train crews, or help the organization in any volunteer capacity. Sustaining members are allowed one vote in GGRM elections.
Patrons receive the Dispatcher's Sheet newsletter, can help with restoration efforts, can work on train crews, or help the organization in any volunteer capacity. Patrons recieve one vote in GGRM elections.

The GGRM welcomes all donations in excess of membership dues. Many individuals have made generous donations which have enabled the Museum to complete special projects and meet daily expenses. All donations are fully tax deductible in accordance with state and federal tax laws. The Golden Gate Railroad Museum, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization. I.R.S. #94-2844499.
