Presidents Day Break-in Runs

Our 5 year effort to return the SP 2472 to operation was completed on Feb. 18, 2008 when we made a successful test run on the Niles Canyon Railway. It was thrilling to finally see the 1921 P-8 Pacific under steam with the green hills of Niles Canyon as a backdrop.
