For a limited time, the GGRM is making available a limited number of the commerative caches from our recent "Owney the RPO Dog" event. During this event, GGRM's RPO UP #5901
was an official USPS postal station for the day. Visitors were able
to bring mail to this historic can and have a unique cancel applied
commemorating Owney and the Railway Mail Service. If you missed the event,
this is your last chance to get your commerative cache.

Commemorative Owney the RPO Dog Cache
The GGRM, in conjunction with the
USPS and the NCRy / PLA, hosted an event aboard our railway post office car (RPO) UP 5901 which became an official USPS postal station for the day.
The GGRM is making available a limited number of the commerative caches from the event. The proceeds of the sale of this item will be used to help fund the continued restoration of UP #5901

clerks adopted Owney as their unofficial mascot, marking his travels by placing
medals and tags on his collar
